Ray Half MountsThis 40" spotted ray half mount is actually a replica of a mature cownose ray. It measures 40" from nose to tail and 36" wingtip to wingtip. Our Ray half mounts are anatomically correct half fish replicas that are intended to be displayed on the wall. A half sided mount is made by casting the front part of a two sided full mount mold. When up on the wall the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts times and material costs and therefore results in a lower selling price even though the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional mount. Ray Half Mount PaintingWe paint all our replicas to look alive. Our artists paint this a stunning metallic blue and black paint schedule. We finish with a UV Protective Urethane clear coat. Shipment Of Your Ray MountOur packing department is very experienced and completely understand the importance of excellent packaging to ensure an undamaged delivery. Should anything catastrophic happen we will instantly replace the damaged mount. Installing Your Ray MountAll our half mounts are complete with a resin hanger attached to the backside that runs parallel to the ground. Hold the half mount up on the wall, drill in a couple screws or hammer in a couple nails where you would like it to be and then hang your new Ray half mount.
